I must first begin my post by saying that the titles of my blogs have no meaning whatsoever.
So, school is killing me. Yes, my 18 credit hour semester course load has finally caught up with me. Of course being the newly elected president of the Southeastern Circle K club can't help with the fact that I no longer have a minute of free time.
I barely have time to update this silly blog thing, which I did not recall creating, and I wish my domain could be rebeccajessene.blogspot.com (coincidentally, i did have this domain on my old google mail account for blogspot, but it is more convienent to use the one connected to my actual non-school email. Regardless, I basically had totally forgot I made this blog once upon a time (I started it in a very stressful time in my life, where I was a busy little bee getting ready for the convention I was in charge of. I like to use my blog to share my day to day happenings in "Becca Lingo."
UPDATE TIME!!
I've been working hard on two HUGE projects for marketing classes (my major is marketing). One project is for my Marketing Research class. Me and a group of three other people came up with a topic to research, we wrote up a survey, and then we sent the survey out to students and analyzed the data. My group's topic is on "Marketing Majors perceptions of what life after college will be/what the job market will be like." The paper that our group compiled with background research, hypotheses, and data analyses, was 71 pages! We turned in the last draft and the teacher gave us comments on our work. About 20 pages of the paper are going to be removed to display things more efficiently, but either way. impressive, eh? So the best part of this project is that I was talking with the teacher after class today, getting some help with a few things, and she was saying that she may use our topic to get published after the class is done. Of course, she'd just use our findings as a basis, but do it on a larger scale. But, she said that if she did do this (which, is highly likely) that she'd ask the members of our group to help out and work with her on the project. How great is that??!! :) Next project, is a BIG integrated marketing campaign, to advertise this children's museum that they will be building in Hammond in the next few years. This project is stressing me, actually right now I am procrastinating working on it. Or even studying my material for my advertising class. (shh... don't tell)
I'm going to be a college graduate in December. I'm taking 6 credit hours this summer, and planning on getting a job, i'm applying to Neill Corp. in Hammond. They run all the Aveda salons in the Southeast region, I believe. Then, in the fall semester, I will be taking 18 credit hours yet again. But, I get to graduate. That's pretty fly.
Hmm... what else? OH! My computer crashed totally the other day. which sucks! But it will be ok, its still under warranty, so maybe they can fix it? If not, I'll just have to go buy my MacBook Pro a bit earlier than I planned to.
Ok, well I'm totally out of things to blog about.
