Manda Panda put it very well when she said "good luck on your maiden voyage."
My bike riding went very well today, I'm working up leg muscles that I haven't used in so long, and I sweat buckets, but It was worth it. I am a little wobbly, and am not a pro at navigating around pedestrians. Riding close to fences or over little skinny bridges makes me wobble more because I get nervous and flustered that I'll fall off into them. I think I'm going to leave my house sooner so that I can have a cool down period, because I felt so icky going into my class with sweat dripping from my brow. It was really hot out. I can't wait for some cooler weather.
Going green feels great! I went to the university bookstore today to buy a scantron supply for the semester and when I was at the register, the girl pulled out a plastic shopping bag to put my scantrons in, I said that I didn't need it and swifty zipped my booksack open to put them away. I felt great to do that little extra for the planet. I discovered today at the bookstore that they sell this full like of eco friendly school supplies. They have pencils that are made from wood and are recyclable and not painted. They had filler paper, and printer paper, and notebooks also ranging from one-subject to five-subject. There are ink pens, highlighters, and just anything you'd ever think of using on a regular basis, they have it. They might even have white out, I don't recall. I would have bought out the entire line, but I'm on a super tight budget since I no longer have a job. I am looking for one, and discovered today this job database that is available to southeastern students. I found a listing to work as a receptionist at a realty firm, I think I am going to apply.
Anyway, tomorrow I am going to pay my fee so that I can fill out my graduation application and then I have to wait and see if I get accepted to graduate.
This last semester of school seems like it's going to be a doozy, but it will be worth it. I'm pumped!

Beeca, you've totally inspired me. I want to reduce my carbon footprint too. I don't think I'll be biking to wal-mart anytime soon, but I know that I can find little ways to make a difference. You've gotta start somewhere, right? Maybe I'll buy some of those pencils made of wood (ha,ha)
In the meantime, I'll be praying for some cooler weather to come your way!
Love you - Mando
You rock Becca!
Work those muscles bay-bay.
