bunnies & fluffy puppies

This past weekend was Easter, as I'm sure you all know. I have had a dream to have a live bunny in my Easter basket ever since I was a little kid. It's been 22 years and yet, no bunny. This year since I'm living on my own and all I decided I wanted to take matters into my own hands and buy me a little bunny. And normally I'd be all for just any bunny, but the bunny that I wanted was a cute little chinchilla colored dwarf bunny. SOOO SOOO SOOO AHH-DOR-AHH-BLE!!! (you gotta say it with those syllables and phonetics or its just not right). So I was on the hunt for my bunny, right. I knew that since Easter was right around the corner that I'd see people selling these babies EVERYWHERE. However, much to my surprise I didn't see many bunnies for sale on the side of the road (bummer, right?). I called my mother & father to see if they'd be willing to buy me a bunny and bring it to me for Easter. They mocked and ridiculed me. And turned me off of the bunny idea and on to the idea of getting a puppy.

Ever since we adopted the ever so adorable, Candace Roncini Abel, and was immediately shunned by the poor pup (she pee'd on me on the ride home from the pet store. I've never let her live that down), I have wanted my own puppy. Oh, and I don't want just any puppy, I have a few ideas of what kind of pup I want. First, theres the Toy/Mini Poodle in the black variety, gender - male; next, we have the mini daschund, gender - male or female, color - red; or I'll just get a Candisha clone & go for a rat terrier. I will get my puppy soon enough, but not until after me and little Puppers are roommates for a while. My parents are going to be doing a remodel on their home & are deathly afraid of the Little Misses' reaction to the construction workers, so she's coming to stay with her loving, accepting sister whom she absolutely abhors, how cute is that?!

Utah Friends - Mark your calendars!
May 6 - 12 I will be in the area.
I have already been booked for the 6 - 8th (and need a really nice person to come pick me up from a wedding shower on the 8th and to offer me a place to rest my head.)

Mocked and ridiculed? It sounds so harsh. Some call me a dream squasher... I'm just a realist.

You and Candace will be great together. She may actually change your mind about what & when you get. She does love you! But not as much as me!!!
