Lent

Just last night I was chastising a family member of mine that they need to blog more. When I realized, what in the blankity am I telling this woman to do? I don't even keep my blog up! I'm such a hypocrite. So, I decided to try, at the beginning of this Lenten season (and no, I am not Catholic, nor do I plan a conversion to Catholisim) to take a step towards the light and BLOG MORE. My resolution is to blog regularly (if not everyday) during the 40 days from NOW until EASTER. Good plan? I think so.

I'm thinking of starting a "creative" blog alias and site. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I think I want to call it "Frankly M'dear"... Because I want it to be cutesy and Southern-y. (In case you don't see the tie, 'Frankly my dear I don't give a damn', is a line from the movie Gone with the Wind, a staple in every proper Southern Belle's video library - which come to think of it, I don't own my own copy!)

I feel like I'm getting to be rambling on so I will cut this off and say, Aurevoir, until next time :)

Becca, I love that for Lent we (you & I) usually don't give something up (which is traditional), but instead increase something we do. Poor planning on my part but I'm not yet sure of my Lent participation. 40 days of blogging---you can totally do it! Do you realize there are actually 46 days but 40 with Sunday's off? Why not mix your family and creative blog?

Looks like your resolution didn't even last a day! LOL! You are such a fun writer. I love reading what you have to say.
