40% off Dillards Sale items!

I missed my first day of blogging for lent, how horrible am i? is there some kind of penance for what i've done? How about this, can I do 2 blogs in one day, would that make up for it? or can we say that since I said "regular blogging" that skipping one day is fairly regular. I might put a poll up later to elicit some response.

Anyway, last night here in Hattiesburg we had enrichment, they did a night of pampering, which I totally failed on -- I forgot to bring the parafin wax heater upper thing. It was a nice activity, there was someone giving massages, and chairs with foot massagers and all that jazz. Well, not long into the activity I said something to my grandma about this big sale at Dillards, where they're taking an extra 40% off of all pink stickers (which is sale items, some of which already have up to 70% off, so an EXTRA 40%, fabulous right?). Well, grammy decides that a sale at dillards is more important than enrichment so she proposes the idea that we eat the food there and then go to the sale. I was ok with the idea. We went and had 45 minutes to shop - I think I needed hours, literally. there's so many little sections of the store, I'm thinking I have to go back today to check out shoes and purses and more clothes. I bought 2 shirts, one DKNY and one Kenneth Cole. Now, you have to be a regular Dillards shopper (I'm really not), to know that these are some high end brands there. These shirts I got are stinking adorable.

Well, I need to sign off now to get ready for work. Enjoy your day!

Girl, I went Wednesday after work and had a blast. Though I bought a Ralph Lauren baby gift, and you three Antonio Melani basics (2 skirts & a jacket), my best deal was for me and was a total splurge. It is a 100% cashmere throw that is a lovely shade of brown. Reg. price $179---70% off making it $56 something---take 40% more off and it was $32.32!!! I've never dreamed of having one but immediately after seeing it in the housewares dept. I was dreaming of cuddling up with it. So, I rushed home, cut off the tags, cut up a bowl of fresh Louisiana strawberries, and sat in my comfy chair. The total experience was heavenly! I hope you like what I got you. (Everyone in my office liked them.) We may stop at the Slidell store on the way to see you. Then you and I could go to your store if you want. Love you!
